Cut-To-Length Processing

Our cut-to-length process begins with coiled which is uncoiled, flattened then passes through precision leveling equipment, where intense pressure is applied to eliminate coil memory and achieve a flat, uniform sheet or plate and cut into custom lengths.

We work with a wide range of coiled metals, including hot rolled, cold rolled, galvanized, and others, ensuring versatility for various industries and applications. Our advanced capabilities help to reduce customers scrap and guarantee a reliable supply of steel products suited to your needs. Our capabilities are as follows:

  • Widths – Up to 74″ wide coils
  • Lengths – Custom lengths up to 240″ (contact us for longer length inquiries)
  • Thicknesses – 24 gauge through ¾″ (.024 → .750)

Shearing Services for Steel Strips, Blanks, and Shapes

Our shearing services are designed for both flexibility and precision—whether your job requires small runs or high-volume production of steel strips, blanks or shapes, we have the capabilities to hold tight tolerances to ensure your specifications are met with accuracy.

Our shearing process consists of a mechanical cutting process used primarily to cut sheet metal into specific shapes and sizes. It involves applying a high shear force to the metal, which is ideal for trimming excess material, dividing large sheets into smaller sections, or preparing precise edges for further fabrication such as bending, welding, or assembling. Shearing is known for its speed, simplicity, and ability to produce clean cuts with minimal material waste.

Laser Cutting

Laser cutting steel is a precise, high-speed metal fabrication process that uses a focused laser beam to melt, burn, or vaporize steel along a designated path. It is widely used in manufacturing for producing intricate shapes and detailed parts from steel sheets or plates. Ideal for complex shapes and fine details.

Slitting Steel

Slitting steel is a metal fabrication process in which wide coils of steel are cut into narrower strips using rotary cutting blades. This process is typically performed on a slitting line and is commonly used to prepare steel for further manufacturing or forming.

Forming Steel

Forming steel is a metalworking process that involves reshaping steel without adding or removing material. It typically uses force, pressure, or heat to alter the steel's shape into a desired form while maintaining its volume and mass.

Punching Steel

Punching steel is a metal fabrication process that involves using a punch press to force a tool (punch) through steel to create holes or cutouts. The excess material removed is called the slug. This method is fast and repeatable.
